Terms of Service for SocialAuto

Last updated: March 10, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SocialAuto Desktop application and accessing this Web interface ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of SocialAuto.

2. Local Execution and API Liability

SocialAuto acts strictly as a local automation tool operating on your machine, leveraging official API integrations.

  • Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your social media accounts and the local credentials accessed by the Software.
  • Platform Compliance: By utilizing the provided API connections (e.g., TikTok Content Posting API, YouTube Data API), you agree to use the Software in strict compliance with their respective developer and community guidelines. We are not liable for any account restrictions, shadowbans, or terminations resulting from spamming or violating these third-party terms.
  • Content Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for the legality, originality, and appropriateness of the content you schedule, download, and publish using the Software.

3. License to Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Software locally on your Desktop devices strictly in accordance with these Terms.

4. Restrictions and Fair Use

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

  • License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, disclose or otherwise commercially exploit the Software.
  • Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile or reverse engineer any part of the Software.
  • Use the software to artificially inflate metrics, scrape private data aggressively, or conduct malicious botnet operations.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Software will function without interruption or errors, or that it will remain continually compatible with third-party platform API changes (such as TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube deprecating endpoints).

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Software.
