Welcome to SocialAuto. This Privacy Policy serves as the official privacy documentation for the SocialAuto Desktop application and its associated Web landing page. This document outlines our data practices regarding your use of the Software, specifically referencing our adherence to the developer guidelines of the platforms we integrate with.

2. Local Execution and Data Security

SocialAuto is designed as a strict, local-first hybrid application. Our defining security characteristic is our "Zero-Knowledge" architecture regarding remote servers:

• API Tokens & Credentials: All necessary authentication tokens, session cookies, and API keys secured via Login Kits (including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook) are stored exclusively encrypted on your local machine's storage.
• No Remote Telemetry or Storage: We do not operate a centralized database for your social data. We do not transmit, upload, or store your credentials, profile data, or media on any of our own remote servers.
• Direct Platform Communication: The software communicates strictly and directly from your local IP address to the respective official platform APIs.

3. API Usage Disclosures

SocialAuto requests authorized access to the following explicit scopes via official platform APIs:

• TikTok: We use the TikTok Login Kit to authenticate your identity locally, and the TikTok Content Posting API to publish videos directly to your feed based on your local schedule. No TikTok profile data is sold, monetized, or shared with third parties.
• YouTube/Google API Services: We adhere stringently to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your YouTube channel data and upload access is solely used to facilitate your requested uploads and is never transferred outside your local machine.
• Meta (Instagram/Facebook): We utilize the Instagram Graph API and Facebook Pages API for media publishing. We only request publishing permissions.

4. Information Processed Locally

To function, the Software processes the following solely within your computer's RAM and local disk:

• File paths to designated "Inbox", "Processing", and "Failed" folders.
• Downloaded media files fetched via the integrated downloader tool.
• Metadata such as default captions, targeted titles, and custom scheduling hashes.

5. Removal of Data

Because we do not store your data, you hold total control. To permanently delete all data authorized to SocialAuto, you simply need to revoke the application's access via your respective social platform's security settings (e.g., revoking App Access in your TikTok Security settings) and delete the local configuration files on your desktop.
