Xiaomi 17 Max rumored to pack massive 8,000mAh battery

Battery life anxiety may soon be a thing of the past. A new leak on Weibo suggests that the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Max will feature an unprecedented 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, significantly larger than any current flagship smartphone.

Despite the massive capacity, the device is expected to remain surprisingly thin due to new high-density battery technology. The leak also mentions the removal of the rear secondary screen found in the previous Ultra model to accommodate the larger cell.
