TL;DR: The image the motorsport world waited two years to see is finally real. Lewis Hamilton has completed his first official pre-season test session as a Ferrari driver at the Fiorano circuit.
The 678 Project
Ferrari's 2026 challenger, codenamed the SF-26, features the radical new active aerodynamics required by the 2026 regulations. The car features a slimmer nose cone and a darker shade of "Rosso Corsa" than previous years.

Driver Reaction
After 85 laps, Hamilton seemed optimistic. "It’s a different beast," Hamilton said in the paddock. "The 2026 engine has so much instant torque from the electrical system. It requires a different driving style, but the balance is there."
The Tifosi Welcome
Thousands of fans lined the fences at Fiorano to catch a glimpse of the 7-time World Champion in red. Merchandise sales for Hamilton's #44 Ferrari line have already broken all-time records for the Scuderia.
